Dear UMAC Families,

Teaching students in a manner that is fun, effective, and rewarding is always our mission at our school.

Over the past two years, we have balanced those objectives with both the guidelines and restrictions brought on by COVID-19.

As a result we have continually adjusted our teaching methods and policies based on the latest conditions.

As a licensed Child Care (under the Child Care Council of Westchester), we are subject to their policies and procedures.

Because of this, MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES OPERATING BEFORE 6PM (CHILDREN'S CLASSES)  AND OUR AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM (including all students, parents, and staff) 

This is also in accordance with local school guidelines, which we have always strived to follow.

However, MASKS WILL BE OPTIONAL FOR VACCINATED INDIVIDUALS IN CLASSES AFTER 6PM now that the general mask mandate has been lifted.

As policies continue to change, we will continue to update you.

We appreciate the cooperation and support that we have received from every family in our schools throughout this lengthy and challenging scenario.
