UMAC Families,
We are currently experiencing widespread power outages in the Jefferson Valley/ Shrub Oak area. I reached out to Con-Ed to see what they can do to restore. They said it should be up and running in a few hours.
I am sending this email as a precaution. If the power is out by the time classes start, then we will be hosting them virtually.
Hopefully it will be restored ASAP. During the day, it’s fine because we have natural light. At night, it’s too dark to operate.
I apologize for any inconvenience!
The positive? It’s BEAUTIFUL outside and it seems like spring is coming! This means no more snow! *fingers crossed*
In the case of virtual lessons, classes will operate the same time as our normal schedule.
Here will be the plan for Wednesday, 2/24:
- 5:00pm: Basic Junior Class
- 5:50pm: Black Belt Club Class
- 6:40pm: Family Class
