[UMAC] Announcements 5/3-5/8 - Thank you to all that participated in the Kickathon!

UMAC Families,

What a beautiful weekend! This past Saturday, we hosted our annual Kickathon at UMAC Briarcliff. Students of all UMAC locations grouped together to do 500 kicks to help raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We are grateful and proud to say that with the combined effort of all UMAC Students, we were able to raise over $14,000! All of the funds will be going to research to save the lives of those affected by this horrible disease.

Today begins our self defense week. As you all may know, throughout the last year we have adjusted the self defense curriculum to fit in all of the measurements we take to keep our students and families safe. With our one - step sparring, we are able to teach practical application of our forms in a way that can ensure social distancing and a deeper knowledge of why we do what we do in our forms training! This week, we will dive deeper into our one step sparring!
