Hello everyone, 

We are excited for the upcoming school year and the UMAC After-School Program.  UMAC Shrub Oak and Briarcliff are the only two martial arts schools in the Tri-state that are registered with the NYS Office of Children and Family Services.   We are able to do activities other than martial arts; tutoring, homework help or anything else we believe the children will benefit from. 

We have only ten spots in our after-school program and then we will be maxed out.  Students must attend Lakeland Schools and the district will bus the children over to us.  Register today!

What your child does at UMAC After-School...

Your children will be bussed from any of the Lakeland Schools to our center.  They will be greeted off the bus by Ms. Anderson, check in with Master Berlow or Mrs. Berlow, have a quick snack, change into their uniforms and prepare for class.  Depending on time, students will decompress from the school day with either a quiet activity or physical game.  Students will partake in their martial arts class (Need I say more) and then change out of uniforms to work on their homework or quite activities until the parents could pick up from the back door.  Of course, character development and martial arts philosophy is integrated in all aspects of the After-School Program. 

Enrolling your child in our unique After School Martial Arts Program is great for your child because they will develop strong friendships, be physically active, and excel in the Martial Arts and be in an environment where respect, discipline and confidence is integrated in everything we do.  UMAC After-school is great for the parents because they will know that their children are in a fun, safe, caring environment and will be well taken care of while at work.
