UMAC Break-A-Thon and Championship

March 28th at 10:00AM

UMAC is so excited to announce our 2020 Break-A-Thon and Championship! If you've never been to one before, they are action-packed, fun events whose proceeds go to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. It is our goal as an organization to have raised $500,000 by the end of this year (which we can definitely do!)

Not only do students get a board for every $5 they raise (up to 20 boards), but the championship serves as a way to test their skills against other students.

I love competition because it

Builds determination and a "champion" mindset
Training and preparing for it exponentially helps technique
Teaches students to set a goal and work tirelessly for it
Gives students and opportunity to showcase their skills
Provides students an opportunity to fail and learn from it in a safe, positive environment
AND it's lots of FUN!!!

Students can compete in either Sparring, Breaking, and or Forms (Dragons students can do an obstacle course)

If you want to help your child elevate their technique, become stronger, and show more mental toughness, I would encourage them to compete

Fill out your personal information
Select your UMAC location (Shrub Oak)
Choose how many tickets
Add $30 for one event or $50 on top of the minimum $10 donation per ticket (if you're just spectating it's only $10/ person)
REGISTER!

All proceeds go to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Those that recieve help from LLS are the real champions at this event; they are WHY we do what we do
